چکیده
Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station placement problem is a facility location problem. The EV concerns about the total coverage in traffic network, system losses and node voltage deviations electric distribution system. To address loss reduction profile improvement, systems are normally equipped with shunt capacitors for reactive power compensation. In this paper mathematical model comprising three objective functions, maximization of minimization subjected to constraints proposed simultaneous stations capacitors. control variables optimization rating A hybrid algorithm (PSO-DS) combining particle swarm direct search method solution model. performance PSO-DS justified by comparing it other state-of-the-art algorithms solving standard benchmark functions. Simulations carried out on 33-bus 25-node network determine different planning strategy stations.

Demand Prediction and Placement Optimization for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Due to the environmental impact of fossil fuels and high variability in their prices, there is rising interest in adopting electric vehicles (EVs) by both individuals and governments. Despite the advances in vehicle efficiency and battery capacity, a key hurdle is the inherent interdependence between EV adoption and charging station deployment–EV adoption (and hence, charging demand) increases ...

متن کاملAn Efficient Algorithm for Placing Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Motivated by the increasing popularity of electric vehicles (EV) and a lack of charging stations in the road network, we study the shortest path hitting set (SPHS) problem. Roughly speaking, given an input graph G, the goal is to compute a small-size subset H of vertices of G such that by placing charging stations at vertices in H, every shortest path in G becomes EV-feasible, i.e., an EV can t...

Electric and hybrid vehicles play an increasing role in the road transport networks. Despite their advantages, they have a relatively limited cruising range in comparison to traditional diesel/petrol vehicles, and require significant battery charging time. We propose to model the facility location problem of the placement of charging stations in road networks as a multiple domination problem on...
